Quality guitar tuition for adults (beginners to advanced) and children (intermediate to advanced).
It's never too late to take up the guitar!

Individual guitar lessons are offered at my studio in Leigh-on-sea,

and on line.

Tuition includes guitar technique, music theory, chords, music reading, improvisation, ensemble playing, aural and musicianship.
 

After mastering the basics, students can have the option of joining occasional group playing sessions, meeting other learners and experiencing making music together.

 

Exams are catered for at any level if required, however, individual goals and aspirations are always at the centre of lesson planning.

 

Music theory lessons are also available for students of any instrument.

Experience: Over 20 years teaching in Junior music schools, Colchester Institute School of Music and Anglia Ruskin University. 

Currently my teaching is focused on my private practice in Leigh-on-sea.

Beside experience as a guitarist, work as violinist, pianist and organist, has afforded me a broad range of musical knowledge.

I am a published composer of guitar music and have written a music theory puzzle book.
